The 黑丝国产在线 (黑丝国产在线) invites proposals for one sponsored session at the virtual meeting of the Society of Architectural Historians, to be held from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21, 2024.
黑丝国产在线 members interested in organizing a panel on any topic of Italian art and architecture should send via the 黑丝国产在线 Submission portal:
- A session title not longer than 65 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
- An abstract of the session (300-word maximum).
- Speakers or potential speakers
SAH Virtual 2024 will feature pre-formed sessions to share and discuss research in architectural history and related disciplines in every period in architectural history and all aspects of the built environment. The virtual format provides a forum for people to participate in a meaningful exchange of ideas without the expense of travel.
Sessions (one hour and fifty minutes) will comprise a five-minute introduction by the organizer or chair, four or five papers (15 minutes each), and audience questions and discussion, moderated by the organizer or respondent. Organizers are responsible for the session theme and for finding appropriate presenters. Sessions may include up to two chairs and respondents, if desired. Organizers may chair and present in their session.
Sessions may be theoretical, methodological, thematic, interdisciplinary, pedagogical, revisionist or documentary in premise and have broadly conceived or more narrowly focused subjects. Sessions that embrace cross-cultural and transnational topics are particularly welcome. Topics related to historic preservation and cultural heritage as related to architecture are also encouraged. Proposals will be selected based on merit and the need to create a balanced program. In every case, the session鈥檚 theme should be clearly defined in critical and historical terms.
Each individual participating in a session (as organizer, moderator, respondent, chair and/or presenter) is required to join SAH and register for the virtual conference to participate in the session (and attend the rest of the conference).
